Updates on the long-term allocation of 24 - 30 GHz radio spectrum

Radio Spectrum Management (RSM) is continuing its work towards the long-term allocations of 24-30 GHz radio spectrum.
Following the October 2023 update, RSM has now completed the development of detailed technical spectrum planning options for 24-30 GHz.
In October 2023, RSM ran an expression of interest process for stakeholders to register their participation in the 24-30 GHz Technical Working Group (TWG). Following the conclusion of this process, RSM held three TWG meetings on November 8, 2023, May 28, 2024, and November 21, 2024, with the relevant stakeholders. RSM wishes to thank these stakeholders for their active participation and for sharing useful technical information.
RSM is now developing the 2nd public consultation covering technical, policy, allocation, and licensing options along with advice to Ministers pertaining to the long-term allocations of 24-30 GHz spectrum. RSM will provide a further update on our website and via a business update with the release of the discussion document for the 2nd public consultation on 24-30 GHz.
RSM looks forward to receiving submissions on this consultation.
