A step-by-step guide for all users to search for a licence to supply radio transmitters in the Register of Radio Frequencies (RRF).
Search licences to supply radio transmitters
All users can search for licences to supply radio transmitters then view details of the licence.
- Click the Register of Radio Frequencies(external link) (RRF) link in the top right of the Radio Spectrum Management website.
- Select Search > Search Licences to Supply Radio Transmitters from the menu (or click the Search Licences to Supply Radio Transmitters box on RRF welcome page). The ‘Search Licences to Supply Radio Transmitters’ screen displays.
- Enter your search criteria in the Search field, (e.g. Licensee name, Client number, Trading name).
- You can enter part of the Licensee name or Trading name and perform a search.
- If you search using a Licence number, Client number or NZBN, you must enter the complete number to return a result.
- Click Search. The results display below.
- To sort your results (ascending or descending), click the column heading(s).
- To view details of a licence in the search results, click Search
- Scroll to view details of the selected licence, (client details, basic licence details, terms, conditions and restrictions).
- Click View to view details of the client, basic licence details and Terms, conditions, and restrictions.
- Click Back to return to the ‘Search Licences to Supply Radio Transmitters’
Tip: To view all licences to supply radio transmitters in the RRF, leave all fields blank and click Search.
