Annual licence fees
We collect annual licence fees to recover the cost of providing services. The fees are set in Schedule 6 of the Radiocommunications Regulations 2001.
Purpose of the fees
By charging these fees, we're able to:
- fully recover the costs associated with administering the Act
- continually seek to improve our efficiency in administering the Act
- fairly allocate the costs in relation to work undertaken.
Annual fee table
The table below is taken from the Radiocommunications Regulations 2001 — Schedule 6, Annual administration fees payable to chief executive for radio and spectrum licences(external link).

Manual payment fee
A fee of $25 will be added to payments made by cash, cheque*, or any other kind of payment other than an electronic payment/payment by credit card.
* Due to Kiwibank policy(external link), RSM can no longer accept Kiwibank cheques as a method of payment.
