Decline a spectrum transfer

You can decline a spectrum transfer Form 9 'Notice of transfer of spectrum licence' in the Register of Radio Frequencies (RRF).

What you need to know

When you decline a spectrum licence transfer, it's the submitted Form 9 you are declining — before the licensing Manager actions it.

Only the Manager of the licence in the Management Right can decline a Form 9, but it needs both the Manager and Rightholder to complete the process.

Decline process - Manager

Only a Manager can decline a Form 9 spectrum licence transfer.

1. Log on to the Register of Radio Frequencies (RRF)(external link) using RealMe.
2. Open Form 9 Transfer spectrum licence task from ‘My Dashboard’ to display the ‘Form 9 notice of transfer of spectrum licence’ screen.
3. Click Decline.
4. Enter a reason (if required) and click OK. The Form 9 spectrum licence transfer returns to the initiator (i.e. Rightholder) to action from a task in their ‘My Dashboard. Refer to Discard a spectrum transfer form.
