Auction of sound broadcasting spectrum licences
Details for the auction of two FM sound broadcasting spectrum licences have been announced following an expression of interest process.
The licence details are:
- Two Peaks (Central Hawkes Bay District) 96.4 MHz, licence number 402243(external link), reserve price: $3,920 incl. GST.
- Otahoua (Masterton District) 103.9 MHz, licence number 402516(external link), reserve price: $16,379 incl. GST.
Auction 27 will be managed by Skylarc with the licences sold on the Trade Me website. The auction will start on 4 October 2023 and run for seven days until 11 October 2023.
The term of each licence is valid until 2 April 2031 provided the successful party meets the implementation criteria.
